LA Productions believes in rolling out the red carpet for our clients and has a long history of supporting a variety of charitable organizations. So when we heard about the Viva Glam Program from M.A.C. Cosmetics, we knew it was the perfect fit for this week’s “Ask Lisa” blog segment. Visit M.A.C. Cosmetic Giving Back to learn more and while there, check out the two newest colors inspired by Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga. Dear Lisa,
This is one of my favorite times of year – when all of Hollywood turns up at the various awards ceremonies looking picture perfect. I especially enjoy the pre-show events so that I can see what’s being worn, which hair styles are popular and what the general “must have” looks are for the season. I sit back and wonder what it would take to be made-up like some of my favorite actresses. What simple tips can you offer to make a lady feel beautiful and camera ready for any event?

One of the best parts about being event planners is the great people you get to work with.
On one hand are the clients. In our case, they are a terrific mix of professional businesses, non-profit organizations and private individuals who allow us to marry our skills of logic and creativity to produce spectacular events. On the other hand we have an extensive list of vendor resources that we can call upon to help us accomplish any task.
So when we met Lisa Berry and toured her wine store – Vintner’s Cellar in Royal Oak, Michigan – we knew that it was the perfect backdrop for our first ever event contest: RAISE A GLASS.
